One more day with Malyn

Here comes Malyn driving the cart at the grocery store. She was saying watch out Nama I'm making a sharp left to look for the balloons.
She made it and found all the balloons you can possible imagine. If you could have only heard all the chitter chatter when we went down lane. Balloons everywhere.

OOO Thank you thank you HEB for my boon, thank you so much, Nama took me down the balloon lane and I about had a heart attack.
She needs some time to think. Does she want Nama to read or does she want to go to sleep or does she want to poke the dogs or does she want to help Poppy at his desk.........
A Nama moment with her favorite book all about dogs.

" CHEESE"We are so excited to have Uncle Boo and Malyn in town. Boo has it all under control.
Cousins both in PJ's. Ryan can't take his eyes off little miss Malyn.
Malyn walking down the LONG hall way with Maddie (the dog) right behind her.
There is a lot to do at Nama's house so she got right to the fun and played with all the toys and people and dogs.
This little piggy went to market and this little piggy went to San Antonio.
Reading all about Dogs.
Nama Bear's chair.
Malyn's chair. (baby bear chair)
Kiss for Lola. Lola wasn't feeling very well today and I'm sure Malyn kiss made her feel better.

Watching TV for about 35 seconds. Cousins, sitting right next to each other. Ryan was sitting down and Malyn went over and sat down right next to him. No words just necessary just hanging out eating from their snack traps.
Tradition!!!!! Cooking on the island. This time it's a healthy recipe: Black Bean Salsa. We made the Ch. chip cookies the night before.
Poppy and Malyn reading all about Dogs.

Malyn showing Ryan how to be silly. He's like "Is she for real?"

Dinner with the Fam-----------by Ryan

Excuse me Nama but I'm playing "Patty cake" and "Soooo Big" with Cindy so no pictures please. Besides the flash makes my eyes close. He learned to clap his hands on command that night. Thanks to Cindy.
Ryan has that look like "all the girls love me, what can I say?" He and Cindy were just having so much fun.

Now, Dennis is Ryan's best friend. I'll have to tell you all why later. He also holds him up so high he can see all around his world and that brings big smiles to Ryan's chubby cheeks. Notice the first picture. It looks like he stored all the rice and chicken he had in them.

Easter Day

We all went to Sonterra for a Family Brunch. It was supposed to be a rainy and cold day but truned into a beautiful but windy day. Thanks so much Jess and Rod.
This is Jenny, trying to convince me that this table is the last table we eat from, not the first.
That's not the bunny Nama, it's my mommy.

Where is the Bunny?
Here he is: So happy!!! Notice Ryan is ALL about this GIANT bunny.
Beautiful Easter Day and two beautiful daughters. Thank you Lord.

Grandma's homemade Easter Basket. Full of fun toys and clothes.

Passover Seder

The Passover meal is known as the Seder, which means "order," because the meal and service are done in a prescribed sequence. This sequence is presented in the Haggadah ("telling"), which outlines the steps of the meal as well as the readings and songs for the participants.
This meal was put on by the Riverside Church. The church Jenny goes too in Spring Branch. This was our family table. The Tootles, Garrisons, Jen, and myself. We all followed the traditions of the passover for believers in Messiah, Jesus Christ. It was so interesting and informative. I enjoyed so much taking part of such a huge part of our history.

At the end the pastor lead all the children in singing and dancing and they enjoyed it all as well as the rest of us enjoyed the traditions.

They all come together at the end of the music. What a wonderful way to "teach the children". Thank you Jenny for including us in this special evening.

Spring Break

I totally got these pictures out of order. This was the end of the beginning of my spring break on Wednesday. The day started with the last picture. So I guess you can start there and work your way up to this picture. Bed after bath. Rod, Jess, Jen, Lola and I watched TV. Great Wed. spring break. Watch for Thursday's spring break day.
Ryan and Auntie Jenny playing free fall.

K Bobs for dinner at the Tootles. Jenny and I called at just the right time wed. night. Jess and Rod said come on over we have plenty, the meat was on sale and I cooked it all. Rod made the marinade and Bob Evens made the mashed potatoes and green beans. Thanks guys, it was a wonderful dinner. Lola waited outside for us to finish.

One of the high lights of lunch with Jessica Wed. was filling out Ryan's first fundraiser. I helped him get the prize, a screaming monkey. !!!???
Met Jessica for lunch at a sandwich place near her work. We had to take this ourselves. But we wanted to capture the moment. Picture is only my arm length away so it's a little to close for me but what a fun lunch break. Jess, perhaps your arm will reach further away.

A day at the Loft

Thank you Jenny. I had a fun, relaxing day at the Loft. I actually didn't get as much done as I thought but sure had fun watching my daughter work. ha. We also had some time together since it was sort of slow with spring break going on in Texas. See the bag of projects next to me. Next time I'll go upstairs in the quiet work stations if I really want to get anything done. It was so much fun seeing old faces that I hadn't seen for a while. It was nice to be a visitor instead of a worker although I did enjoy helping out when I was there. I was so surprised to see the deliveries coming in. They were about 4 times larger orders then when I was there. The Loft has grown soooooo much.

Chesley working in the yard. Notice the sweat print he made on his shirt. What a great husband. Now how do you think he managed that. For those who don't know me, I collect hearts.
Yes, they sleep in the master bedroom and they have a sofa for a bed. Chesley fixes the sofa up for them each night. I got up early and took this picture of them sleeping. Actually they woke up just as I was taking the picture.
Mitzi and Maddie, this is for you Malyn and Mattie Sue. They say woof woof.

Baby Sitting

OK girls, just this once, I'll throw you a kiss. Now I must get on with my exploring Nama's house.
Relaxing at Nama's house.
Ryan turns the truck over each time he gets it and checks out the wheels before he drives it. Must be a guy thing.
Ryan is trying to whistle to the music of the MP3 player.
Familiar faces? Ryan stared at this picture a long time. Think he recognized his Nama, mom, and auntie Jenny and auntie Stacy?
Ryan picking out a book for me to read to him. Time to put the diet books away and get children's books to replace them. I'm sure a bunch of dust come out with that book.
That's all folks! His final song on the MP3.
