2nd Annual Girls Night In...

Started out with a little Wine called Middle Sister at Jessica's house again this year. (Thanks Jessica)

then a delicious appitizer...

wonderful pasta dish by chef Jessica

and a prayer over the thankfulness of family, girl night in, food, each other...
ahhhh people I'm so blessed to have praying daughters. Thank you God.

Auntie Stacy and Auntie Jenny took Ryan to bed and made shadows on the ceiling.

not sure what animal that was but they were all laughing...

this picture was with a flash to see the fun aunties.

Jessica brought out a game she has been wanting to play but never had so we gave it a try and it was moving a little slow because we didnt' really get the directions down fully. So we went on to another game. Then Rod came home and we had some really fun laughs and conversations. Thanks Rod for enlightening us on a few subjects.

I never got the camera out after this but we did end up playing a new game called "Scrabble Slam" and we slammed the cards down to make a word. Pretty lively game. Girls I'm sure your dying about now. You can post maybe a better take on the night. I'm just very grateful that you all want me to be a part of your times together. :)

#3 Christmas

Arnolds and Tootles are at the parents houses and so Jenny, Chesley and I quiet Christmas. Cinnamon Rolls, sausage bundles, and coffee while we opened gifts. Perks to being single for Jenny. She was our little girl and Santa come to our house.

After seeing what Santa brought us all we had a Turkey dinner then rested in front of the fireplace and watched "It's a Wonderful Life" Jenny played with her Flip Camera. Of course the dogs had other ideas and wanted her attention.

I think we have had enough Christmas's this year, so we'll begin to put all the decorations up and back in their boxes for next year. Merry Christmas everyone.

#2 Christmas Sunday

Anticipation

Mattie Sue modeling her new pj's.

Lining up in front of dad waiting for him to put the toys together.

Jessica and Stacy learning how to use the wrap for Samuel.

Final look. Perfect and natural way to carry Samuel. Stacy and Samuel are having a moment.

Mattie Sue playing with some of my old Christmas villages. She is at a wonderful age for this.

Moments with Auntie Jenny. She is always so much fun.

I knew it was to quiet in my room. Here comes Malyn with almost all my jewerly on. Malyn said "look I'm going to the ball. Mattie Sue get me all ready."

Malyn and Nama are pretty surprised at whatever Mattie Sue is saying. We are busy making ginger bread cookies and houses.

And here is the darling project from the Arnold builder's. Good job girls.

Jessica and Stacy busy making peppermint bark. Yummy.

Ryan is telling Mattie Sue that I always hid when the camera comes out. Early in morning and no make up on and still in pj's.

Poppy and the kids.

That flash of a person is Malyn. She is a tough one to catch on film. What a happy precious little spirit she has. We have a lot of these pictures. Got to love her energy.

CHEERS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
(#3 Christmas next)
next post of #3 Christmas. O we figured out only a month with the decoration so why not have 3 or more Christmas's.

1st Christmas of 2009

Saturday night we celebrated Christmas with Chesley's family. Brother, sister, inlaws, kids, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Here are three of the sweetest little girls I know.

Jessica and Jean (Chesley's sister) enjoying a little catch up time.

Stephanie and me. She is the mommy of these darling little girls above.

Dyann, Lamar (just married) and Denise chit chatting in the kitchen. Welcome sister in law.

Jackie and Jim in the meeting room for all conversations. Everyone ends up in the kitchen adventually.

Grandsons and high school football. Chip, Peyton, Preston, and Chase.

Jess and Jen eying the food.

Diane  giving us some Christmas cheer.

At the buffet table, Stacy, Boo, Travis, and Rod.

Getting ready for the opening of gifts....

there were music boxes...

and Zhu Zhu Pets at this house. Stacy was the master of the little creaturs. She assembled part of the city for them to play in.

Santa did well for the May's and I hear he's coming back Sunday as well for the Rudd/Arnold/Tootle girls.
