Merry Christmas

O Merry Christmas. But you will have to excuse me I'm putting on a performance for my family.
Girls just want to have fun! Giggles, singing, playing, etc. That is Sue on Jenny's legs. Looks like Dora made the girl room.

Dad and daughter moment. Listening to the talking bear.
Sue:"I didn't touch her." Ryan: "She didn't touch her, I saw the whole thing" Malyn: "I don't want a Christmas picture"
Isn't she just the cutest little thing?
If Oprah can do it we can do it. Sprinkles red velvet cupcakes. OOOO, OOOO, OOOO
I have not discovered words to express the wonderful taste of these cupcakes. Just lots of "O MY GOSH"! They change you. They say more please. They hook you. Beware!
If you want to communicate with Ryan get on your head. He and Auntie Jenny had quite a conversation.
Ahhhh and the best gift of all, shoes. Notice the shoe box behind Mattie Sue. She has all the princess shoes in all the colors. We heard click clock all day. So happy she loves them.
This is Ryan's Christmas gift. I think he likes it and so does his mommy.
The Family: Rod watching TV, Boo getting up to get peppermint bark, Jen and Chesley watching TV, Mattie Sue counting the scoops of ice cream, Jess/Ryan playing with sound stage, Stacy and Malyn playing school bus. Can anyone find two dogs in the picture?
Ryan playing with the FP sound stage and Maddie (dog) watching TV.

A few days before Christmas

Our QVC model. If you have girls, then you know they always want to preform and this one is a performer.
Nama's shutter speed is a little to slow to catch the action on this one. Sue on the slide and Malyn and Stacy on the side.

Auntie Stacy and baby Ryan. Is that a twinkle in your eye Stacy?
Modern version of Candy Land - Dora Candy Land. Thanks Cindy. Sue is not ready to play and take turns but she sure loved playing with the pieces and moving along the path. Any Dora watchers you will understand that.
Breakfast: Sue is reading a princess magazine and Poppy is reading the paper.
I can't read yet. I eat, sleep, run, and talk (sort of). Mum, Dada, Nam (for Nama). aunt jess, bannas (no I didn't miss spell it), boobarrys, nigh nigh, three, thankyou, gentle, and lots more.
Malyn meet Ryan (second time). Malyn looks just like Stacy did as a baby. I have the pictures to prove it. Exactly. So fun.
I like my cousin Ryan.

Adventures with Mattie Sue

Mattie Sue loves Maddie and Maddie loves Mattie Sue.
Mattie Sue, I'm sure spotted the bowl of candy. She loved Cindy's snowmen and her glasses, and her M&M's and her jelly beans. She wants to go back to Cindy's house. Wonder why. Which one is it.

Veggie Tales tells Mattie Sue all about Fruit Cake. She sees Poppy eating it.
Walking the dogs on a rainy day.
Polar Express. She loved this movie.
Playing in the back yard just having lots of fun running around.
Mattie Sue loved the dog bed.
My little princess.
How precious is this sweet picture?
This is Auntie Jenny and Mattie Sue playing airplane.
Mattie Sue said, " Auntie Jenny, you dance like my mommy." (this was high school musical movie)
Mattie Sue said, O Poppy your shoes are so slippery.

O Christmas Tree

This hard work with Mattie Sue's direction:

Made this beautiful tree.

Ginger Bread House

Thank you Auntie Jessica for the candy house. Mattie Sue had so much fun.
My advice to anyone attempting to make a gingerbread house would be to put the house together and then put the candy in separate bowls and you do the icing and they do the candy. I learned this from another blog friend of Stacy's. It worked very well. House is still together.
Auntie Jenny helped Mattie Sue get her apron on and then she began to build the candy house.

The Arnold Builder. Could it be in the blood?
Mattie Sue was very careful where she put each piece of candy. She was very serious.
Mattie Sue worked very hard on the candy house.
O she wants to eat the house.
Mattie Sue now wants to eat the candy house. Makes sense.
The Ginger Bread House. Made by Mattie Sue Arnold

Mattie Sue and Poppy making a bee line for the Bee Movie tickets.

Mattie Sue had one thing on her mind and it wasn't on someone taking her picture.

Poppy even tried to take her picture and get her attention.

Nope, not even M&M's will get me to take my eyes off the movie. Notice the popcorn is 1/4 of the way down. She did that eating without looking inside the bag. What a gal.

Bringing Mattie Sue back to SA

I think Mattie Sue was wondering if she was really going to go with Nama this time. Things were looking like it but I don't think she believed it until we actually got out of the car and mom drove off. She said " We are going on the airplane and mommy is staying home with daddy".
Mattie Sue waiting very patiently at the LAX airport to board the plane. See the Tinker Bell back pack? It was filled with goodies. I used to do that for my girls when we traveled. Sue of course loved everything.
Mattie Sue wanted her sunglasses on because the sun was so bright in the window. So we shut the shade but she still thought it was bright inside the plane. But we peeked out the window when we took off so we could see how fast the plane was going.
Mattie Sue colored.
These are some of the fun things she had in her bag.
Mattie Sue watching a video and eating fishes.
Mattie Sue did a good job with the Tinker Bell back pack fulled with toys and fun things to do. We are in SA airport, heading for the baggage.
Poppy picked us up at the airport.
Poppy got me a pink build a bear.
