Hanging out with Nama and Mom

Jessica is doing very well. She went to the doctor today and is clear to drive and lift. So the nanny days are coming to an end. Four days left. Why am I already sad? It will be hard to not get up each morning and head to tend to the Tootles. I don't do much now a days but it sure is fun just hanging out with the little guy and mom. Sometimes Rod pops in for lunch and that is always fun. You're doing a great job mom and dad. And Ryan is a wonderful little brother and is ready, I'm sure, to have a buddy to play with.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING From Nama and Poppy.

Thanksgiving morning. Yummy quiche and sweet rolls. Little helping hand from Poppy.

Auntie and mommy thankful kiss.

Ryan has a new way of eating rolls. Insert finger in top of roll and lift up. Just like a lollipop.

Here we are all grateful and hungry and ready to dig in.

Rod liked his meal. A LOT! Was that your second plate Rod? Can't remember?

Football! Today is all about football. Nice throw Ryan.

No caption needed! First time to hold his baby brother. He loves him really.

Baby and Pumpkin patch.

Ryan: "I got your back little brother".

Happy Thanksgiving and Nap Time

9 days old and a visit from Auntie Jenny...

trip to Target after stopping at Chick-fil

then a hug from Poppy. I think Samuel looks like a rolly poly. Jessica is really doing so well. She had two long naps today. (well long for what she can do right now). We'll all be together Thursday eating, napping, laughing and missing Stacy and Boo and the girls. But we are all thankful of what we do have here.

Beautiful Day for Samuel's First Outing

First outing to the Doctor's. Got a great report. I'm growing up already.

Jessica signing some papers while Ryan awaited the strip down and weigh in and growth chart.

We were out and Jessica said, no, no don't take me home yet... so what's a mom to do? Take her to Starbucks for our favorite large Chai Soy Latte and a Taco Cabana taco. Happy food.

Little jauntes so we put Samuel near a window. He loved it and looked out the window and at the toys hanging on the pad.

He named all the colors on the pad and then named all the animals along with counting the strips. :) J/K.

Samuel had a big day and showed off his darling yawn. Or is this when he was singing the Wiggles song? Can't remember.

Precious daughter and grandson. Thank you God for my many blessings!

Soul to Sole 2009

Helping the children in Ugunda. What sweet faces and loving hearts these children have.

Jenny- wonderful job along with all your helpers. You all make a wonderful team and have put on a fun filled day so we can help the children in Uganda. All this makes me want to go visit them. This picture is Jenny telling our children to get ready for their 1K race.

We all did our part. Walked, ran, helped, or supported!
Congrats Martha and Chesley for winning in your category.

Jessica (aka Juno) due Nov. 17, Chesley, and Pam.
