Singing Arnold's Happy Song

Always a fun trip in the Arnold car while running errands. Here are some cute pictures of the girls singing one of Malyn's favorite songs. "Can Anybody Find Me Somebody To Love"
Above is Stacy on the mic and below are the girls as back up. Sweet Sue singing right on pitch...
and Malyn belting out the chorus. (on pitch as well)
They got talent!

Spring is beginning to show

Knock Off Roses
Blooming more and more each day.

Chesley's famous Tomato nursery cage. Notice the new PVC piping that he installed for and hooked up to the hose. The piping has holes in it to water the plants without having to go into the cage.
:( My garden wagon fell apart after trimming the trees. Guess a branch fell on it. Or a person stepped on it.
So sad BUT
Chesley to the rescue. He made me another one.

It will be weathered before long and look just like it used too. Thanks honey!
Now with spring and no rain comes critters that love to put holes in our yard looking for water or eating the roots. So each day we see more and more holes. So frustrating. Any suggestions from you gardeners?

More busy days in CA

We got right to work making a Leprechaun trap for Mattie Sue's class. We were pretty serious because no one has seen a Leprechaun before and the story goes that if you do see him, he will give you his pot of gold sooooo we worked very hard on the trap that would catch him if at all possible.
We hung gold from the inside of the trap and made a rainbow all around the trap. There also is a pot of bling bling to try to get him inside at which time the trap door will snap shut.
Malyn was a little upset because all they talk about in her classroom is weather and not Leprechauns. So she decided to make a trap for dinosaur bones.
Friday morning after taking the girls to school we decided to drive by the beach to see if there would be any high waves from the Japan earthquake. The beach was closed and no waves here. We've all been praying for the devastation in Japan.
This is the mall train that the girls road on while we were waiting for lunch and a movie to start.
Check - lunch
Check - movie. Yes even Eli made it to the movie and was perfect.
We would get quick naps in the car on our way places.
Girls heading to school one morning. Stacy and I just couldn't take it... we had to get their picture. Mattie Sue is holding a flower she made the day before. You are looking at two very crafty little girls.
Getting towards the end of the trip so we made a stop at my favorite places, Noah's Bagels and Coffee Bean.
Last night in CA and we had to do another favorite of Nama's---go to the beach to watch the sunset.
Eating ice cream and playing in the sand while the sun set into the ocean.
See their personalities?
Eli, my sweet newest baby grandson, watching the sun set.
Back home again and Mattie Sue wanted a picture of her and her mommy holding their babies. :)
We watched a movie, Despicable Me then mom
read the chapter book Mattie Sue brought home from the library.

Busy days in CA..

No need for a caption on this one. Ahhhh. He's as sweet and good as he is darling...
On the go with Eli in the car seat above and Malyn with a balloon from the grocery store at the Dr. office.
At Bible Study.. Sleeping to the Dabbler Ultrasound after a delicious bottle of his mommy's milk.
Getting some Vit. D outside on this beautiful CA day, waiting for mom to get Malyn out of the nursery. Yes Eli's eyes are a beautiful blue.
Cutest little feet that usually move and seem ready to fly away when someone looks at him and smiles.
and hair, He's getting hair and it's blond and beautiful. Ya think I like this kid???
 Last swimming lesson.
Mattie Sue swam all the way across the pool. (with her kicking board).

And one large step for Malyn Arnold off the diving board.
Precious Mattie Sue waiting her turn for her running and
 jump into the pool.
Last day, so candy and a lollipop for all. Nice job girls.

A Little of This and a Little of That - from iPhone

Sammy went to lunch with Jessica, Jenny, mom, and me the day before I left for CA. We forgot our money, so Sammy helped out to pay our bill. Thanks Order Up for letting Sammy
Jessica and Ryan picked Nama Dotty up for some yogurt a week ago. Always a treat for both Ryan and Nama Dotty.
Sweetness, pure sweetness. Elijah!
Ryan loves puzzles. Probably because he sees his mom and Auntie and Nama doing them all the time. He's working one hundred pieces puzzles. (Not in this picture but in at my house)
Malyn and Mattie Sue are our little CA Surfer Girls.
Mattie Sue playing hide n seek (I think). She is wearing one of the dresses that Auntie Jenny made her. Or had made. ?? Not sure. Darling Jen.
Nothing like a big sister!
We have a Blondie!
Talking to the camera.
