Green Thumb in the family

Chesley has worked so hard on our yard this year. Great job my green thumb husband. Above is our TX christmas tree that we see from our patio.

Side of the house has rich green bushes and flowers. Can you tell I know, no names and am yard illiterate along with a bad speller. I just love looking at the beautiful yard and feel blessed Chesley loves keeping it all up and looking beautiful.

I thought these were pink last year??? Do they change color every other year?

Beautiful big yellow flowers. :) haha. Really sad I know.

Tomatoes. Next time maybe you'll see some red peeking through.

Last of the Pictures from May 2010 Memories

Chesley with his latest Great Grandson. Hunter.Sweet baby boy welcome to the family.

This is my cousin Sheri and cousin in law Fay. It was so so great seeing them both at my moms. What a surprise that they were here in SA babysitting Fay's grandchildren. Very enjoyable visit and hoping for more either in AZ or CA.

We finally have our back yard back. Beautiful green grass. Sure beats our muddy back yard. Tomatoes are growing and flowers are beginning to bloom.

Still green but when they turn red we have enough tomatoes to set up a stand out front and sell them. Might just pay for the cage we have them growing in.

This is our rain gage that we can see from the porch. We had it up to 5" already this year. Hoping for more rain.
That about finishes our 2010 May pictures.

What a fun filled time we all had. I miss my precious little princess or fairies, which ever they want to be at the time. I'm so very blessed!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN

Early celebration for Ryan from Nama and Poppy. Ryan loves cupcakes and blowing out candles. So that is exactly what we did.

This is how old my first grandson will be Friday.
Toy Story, Cars, and Thomas the Train were all inside this bag just waiting for Ryan to finish studing the picture on the bag. He was a little overwhelmed with the surprise of a cupcake and the "Happy Birthday Ryan" song.
O what a boys dream.
We were trying to figure out how to get one of the Thomas the train engines working and so Ryan picked up the directions and is reading it to help  Poppy figure it out. Between the both of them they got it fixed.

Samuel was there along with mommy and Nama Dotty.
What a fun surprise party. Happy Birthday Ryan.

Happy Mother's Day

This year was a stay at home Mother's Day. Relaxing  with light lunch of chicken salad and fruit , chocolate covered strawberries, and brownies, and putting a puzzle together.. Laughs and golf  going on in the other room.

Closer look of the strawberries, from Jenny. Yummy! Also I've managed to break our camera. The one we just bought last year. The cover won't open completely. :(  Again, maybe, happy birthday Pam. :( another camera. Hope not. We'll see? Murphy's Law, I'm heading for CA this week. iPhone will have to be my camera.
Jenny: "Don't worry dad, Father's Day is right around the corner". We'll get a smile out of you then. And the lunch won't be so girly.  ---Do you want a camera?
