Nama's Den becomes a play room.

Malyn helped me vacuum before she went back to CA.

Pointing her toes and showing off her shoes. I think Mattie Sue was taking a nap otherwise she would have had them on.
Notice Maddie (dog) is always right next to the kids at all times. Ryan has collected all the balls he can find and Malyn is practicing walking on heels and holding her bangket (blanket). She is still learning how to say her L's.

All three together

Actually the best way to view this is start from the last picture and work your way up. Still haven't mastered the blog posting yet. Starting with the last picture, Ryan was so happy and loved each one having their own space and then we moved him up on the sofa and he decided that wasn't as much fun and tried to get off then he was over it and so we put him in between the girls. Well, he froze and didn't want to have skin on skin. Notice his hand and how he is holding them up and looking at us like -------"Really, you are doing this to me."

Micky Mouse was at Walmart

Pool time at Sonterra with cousin Ryan

Girls discoverd the filter system.

Beginning of a wonderful day.

Jessica decided to to keep me busy Sat. while everyone was getting ready for my surprise birthday party. She and I got a pedicure and then had lunch at Bravo. I was quizzing her all day about wondering if there was something going on that night. She said it was exhausting being with me and having to come up with all the last minute reasons for whatever I was saying.

Jessica and I were across the way from each other and so we had to text each other.
We got the full leg massage along with the pedicure.

The finished product. One foot each. One Jessica and one mine. Little did I know what was ahead of for me that evening. Part 2 to come.

Still Overwhelmed from My Surprise Party!

I'll have to post pictures later from my surprise party. Still looking for words to express all the love shown me June 21. Part of my gift is still here and so I'm enjoying two of my grandchildren and Stacy.

Organizing Pictures

While at my moms in Ohio we sorted through lots of pictures and had lots of laughs and ahhh moments. This is my mom I think it's her engagement picture. Isn't she beautiful?
My mom had three girls in her family also. My mom is in the middle.
This is my mom's family. My grandparents and aunts. My mom is on the left. My uncle was born after this picture was taken. Three girls and a boy.
Here are some old pictures. Some are of Porter Bender. He is my great grandfather and he fought in the Indian War. I have a record of his fights. So interesting hearing lots of stories about my family.

Movie And The City

I have no idea why this picture has turned on it's side. It's like my computer is playing games with me. It's a mystery to me so just turn your head to the right to see us if you want too. The picture is not like this in "my pictures". Go figure.
Or was it..................

Before the broken hip

Dad and I having breakfast .
Dad in his office. He just got a new printer for his computer but couldn't get it hooked up. See I'm not a computer nerd.

My dad's daily walk to the mail box to get the Wall Street Journal each morning. Then again at noon to get the mail. Now he uses the golf cart. But that is only temporary. Where this is a will there is a way. Not much can get his man down.

Three weeks ago in Ohio May 18

Three kids means three car seats. Your parents didn't have it so good. Movies, games, and windows you can see out of.

My mom looking out her kitchen window at the flowers that I've been taking pictures of.
