FALL

My Fall project. I made four. Ate two and saved two for Tuesday. This is the one time of year that I miss the NORTH a lot. So I have to do things around the house to make me feel like I'm there. This was a fun project I used to do with my mom.
Monday night of the scary week of Halloween. Jenny and Jessica come over and worked on a project and to watch their show on the big TV. Click on the picture to see what show it is.

Two in October - Birthday's and 1st Cold Front

It's here!!! Our first cold front. Get the soup recipes out and light the fires.
We do what we can down here in the south. If we got real pumpkins they would probably rot in the hot sun. So we get stuffed ones from the Hallmark store.

Does anyone know what this is? And do you remember what they used to look like. Our grand kids will never know unless we show them a pictures of the one we used to have. The times they are a changing.

The Birthday kids. All in Oct.

Guess where we are? Best hamburgers in town.

Busy moms. Friends of Ryan's. Ryan is trying to say hey to Matty. They brought their mommy's.

One of Ryan's girl friends probably having a pureed Chris Madrid's hamburger.

Girl friend of Ryan at the party with his grandma.

This is the "Baby Whisper" She is wonderful.

Three of Chesley's great grand kids. Darling girls. Ages just like mine. So fun.

Happy Birthday Jenny, Jessica, and Chesley. Jenny's name is on there, you just can't see it.

Shopping and Dinner

We're going shopping and to dinner.
Not fond of shopping.

Ryan's seems like a different baby when we leave the stores and he's outside.

Bird watching!

Little prayer before a short nap.
Fake napping!
Hooray, Ryan seems pretty happy that his mom is out of the store.

Ryan thinks he "big time" now that he goes to late night dinner with his mom and me.

Ryan's seems to love the outdoors and the dinner but NOT the shopping.

Ten on Thursday

Jenny cooked dinner for me Monday night. Italian dinner. Wonderful. My favorite thing to do. Spend an evening with my girls. Thanks Jenny.
Ryan is telling Maddie and I about his new achievement. Not only can he hold a football and clap his feet.

But Ryan can do a side way roll.

Mastered the roll over at Nama's house. Well first time I saw it anyway. Maddie got out of the way knowing what was soon to come.

I'm usually the one to put stuff together around here but this looks a little confusing. Instructions were a little vague. But I watched Jessica put the one together she has.

I haven't lost my touch. I'll know for sure if I did it right when Ryan gives it the final test and sits in it.

Ryan isn't at all liking the red eye flash. It's like a mini fireworks. So I have to get a little inventive to get a picture of him.

Perhaps this is better on poor Ryans eyes. See him in the mirror? No closing the eyes.

I finally figured out to take his picture from above him. It shows off his beautiful eyelashes. And no closing of the eyes. Where there is a will there is a way.

Weekend with Malyn

Hi ya'll. Nama's making this weekend ALL ABOUT ME. What happens at Nama's stays at Nama's. But we'll share a few things we did.
Malyn checking out my toes. She actually looked up at me right after this picture and scrunched her nose.

Malyn and Poppy sat here for 30 minutes and she just looked around and later started to drum her little fingers on the arm rest.

Learning the countries. Video to follow.

Poppy and Malyn playing. Malyn loves this toy as long as you push her.

Cheerio's in snack trap. She started to choke on one (just a little) and then looked at the snack trap and threw it across the room. I think she was saying no more of these Nama they can choke me and you and Martha haven't had your class for helping me yet.

Poppy and Malyn playing the drums.

Good bye sweet girl. Thanks for visiting us. Now we really know each other.
