Christmas Traditions

Tradition
Christmas morning tradition.
Grandma .T. or as Ryan says: Dot
Ryan's jumpy. He loved it.
Coffee outside on the porch in December? Yes Dot that's what we do here in TX.
Girls gift from grandma Dottie. Wooden plates that they used to eat on at grandma's house when they were younger. What a fun memory and keepsake. The cousins got one too.
Stacy playing with Sleeping Beauty and the Beast.
Jenny playing with the plasma bike. Gift for the house. Look back on some old posts and you'll see Jenny in the store riding one of these. Good Jen.
Pam and her survivor buff. Finally! Thanks Jess, thanks for going to NY and getting it for me.
Turkey time...
Ryan at the table but where is everyone else? In the kitchen loading up our plates.
AFTER the meal... faster dad faster.
The traditional after Christmas dinner walk. This time they went up the hill to feed the fish.
Rod showing Ryan how to throw the breadcrumbs to the fish.
Stacy and Malyn feeding and watching the fish. Or are they waiting for Nama and grandma Dottie to drive up and pick them up??? No they all made it back down the hill.
Group picture looking at the fish that are getting bigger as we watch them eat the bread I save in the freezer for the grandchildren to feed them.
Waffle breakfast at the LOFT. Chesley chowing down, Boo enjoying his last sticky bun, Stacy posting her blog, Jessica-grandma Dottie-Ryan finishing up the waffles.
I think Grandma Dottie likes it here in TX. Or we sure hope she does.
Ryan: Nama! This is what my mom looks like now. It's her new look since Christmas. Gezzzz
Malyn and Lola having a chat.

GIRLS NIGHT IN... at Jessica's house.
Stacy setting up the timer on the camera for a group picture. This was a pretty funny story.

I think we have a keeper. We also have a happy grandma here. She likes all the traditions here.
To see the final picture you may have to go to Jessica's blog.

The May Family Christmas

Brothers. Chesley and Lamar. Chit Chatting. Also guarding the food.
Passing out the gifts. Merry Christmas!
Ryan liked the bag the best. He went around the house putting trash inside it and then walked to the garage door. Good training Tootles.
View of everyone watching the kids open gifts.
Jacquelyn and Josh

Jim and Jean. Our brother and sister in law. Well, Chesley's sister.
Gracie and Diane. My sister in law and step daughter.
Jessica and girls playing "Red Light/Green Light"
Girls playing
London Bridge is falling down, falling down...
Ryan was like what in the world are you all doing?

The Cousins are here!!!

Dot. where are they? Notice Mr. Cool with his hands in his pockets.
Ryan: Hi (waving) and Mattie Sue: Hi baby Ryan, do you remember me?
Malyn tried on ALL my old bracelets on.
Mattie Sue---- ALL GROWN UP!
Look at the corner of the pink sign and you will see Jessica with her blue hat on looking in the window of the Good Morning America Show. Good job Jess for getting up early and getting a front row view into the window.
Grandma Dottie let the girls help her hang the nutcracker ornament that Katie gave her. It's hard to see with the candy cane in the way but it's really an honor to have him hanging on our tree this year.
Ryan is sharing his blueberries with his mommy and enjoying sharing as much as eating them himself.
Stacy and Mattie Sue using the cereal straws in their milk. Nama is always ready with the latest food fads.
$4.95 for the pup tent at a used children's store.Priceless! Most fun ever. Ryan showed the girls and they loved it. Notice Ryan is keeping his eye on his Thomas train ball in Malyn's hands.

Ryan is a natural at Golf

Ryan had three practice shots without a ball then moved into place and ready for the shot.
Eye on the ball....
look to the right
look to the left
Any thing and everything that at all resembles a golf club, becomes one.

I was tagged.

I was told to post the fourth file fourth picture. Here it is Siena Svendsen at Malyn's birthday party.

I am tagging Jenny and Jessica. Look at Stacy's blog, that is how you do it. She tagged me. I am tagging you two.

Babysitting the high tech little guy....

This is Ryan trying to call his mom in New York. He would say Hello! Then laugh and hang up.
Ahh, I'll just text her. Ryan was actually clicking the phone with both hands and fingers going fast. Then he closed up the phone and tried to put it in his back pocket. Wonder where he's learned that.
