More busy days in CA

We got right to work making a Leprechaun trap for Mattie Sue's class. We were pretty serious because no one has seen a Leprechaun before and the story goes that if you do see him, he will give you his pot of gold sooooo we worked very hard on the trap that would catch him if at all possible.
We hung gold from the inside of the trap and made a rainbow all around the trap. There also is a pot of bling bling to try to get him inside at which time the trap door will snap shut.
Malyn was a little upset because all they talk about in her classroom is weather and not Leprechauns. So she decided to make a trap for dinosaur bones.
Friday morning after taking the girls to school we decided to drive by the beach to see if there would be any high waves from the Japan earthquake. The beach was closed and no waves here. We've all been praying for the devastation in Japan.
This is the mall train that the girls road on while we were waiting for lunch and a movie to start.
Check - lunch
Check - movie. Yes even Eli made it to the movie and was perfect.
We would get quick naps in the car on our way places.
Girls heading to school one morning. Stacy and I just couldn't take it... we had to get their picture. Mattie Sue is holding a flower she made the day before. You are looking at two very crafty little girls.
Getting towards the end of the trip so we made a stop at my favorite places, Noah's Bagels and Coffee Bean.
Last night in CA and we had to do another favorite of Nama's---go to the beach to watch the sunset.
Eating ice cream and playing in the sand while the sun set into the ocean.
See their personalities?
Eli, my sweet newest baby grandson, watching the sun set.
Back home again and Mattie Sue wanted a picture of her and her mommy holding their babies. :)
We watched a movie, Despicable Me then mom
read the chapter book Mattie Sue brought home from the library.
