Smitten Sue and Smitten Mom

Mattie Sue's and Malyn's dolls came to visit Eli in the hospital Thursday night.
Home coming was Friday and what a joyous day it was. Beautiful weather and Eli loves his new home and all the goings on here.

Tonight will be the first night at home so we'll see. No nursery will be taking Eli for the night so mom is on her own. He usually squeaks every 2/3 hours so he's about got it down already. Just waiting for the milk to make its debut.

** Malyn after Eli and mom and dad arrived home: "Where's that baby going to live?"
She does love his little hands and face. But she's more interested in things like taking her Nama and sister on an adventure, "Hollywood Style". Which we did.

She told Mattie Sue and I that we did not have to touch the worms if we dug up any. We could just look at them. I guess that has something to do with the adventure we are about to go on.  Never a dull moment around the Arnolds house. I had to get behind Mattie Sue right after I took the picture because Malyn was the LEADER of the adventure.

I took this picture of Schoeder and me while everyone was asleep or gone. Couldn't take my eyes off my newest grandson. Actually his name is Eli Christopher but I think he looks just like Schoeder in this picture. (piano player in the Peanuts comics)

Last 15 minutes of Pumpkin Patch

This is an LA actors wife taking her child to the pumpkin patch.
Come on mom let's giddy up and pick out a pumpkin.

 Don't smile Malyn. Whatever you do don't smile.

 Good job mom, you took Malyn to the pumpkin patch before the pumpkins were all gone and before you new little pumpkin is born. Thanks, it was fun. You are working your way through your "to do" list before baby. :)

Eli is going to be one blessed little boy. He has a precious mommy! 

Nama learns the ropes...

First we took Malyn to pre school in the rain so no pictures. Then Mattie Sue off to Kindergarten. What a big girl my Mattie Sue is. I met both teachers and also learned the drive routine for after the baby is born. :)

After we picked up Malyn we went to the mall to take somethings to exchange and look what we found. We thought about Ryan and how much he would love this train ride.

I found two spiders in my room skyping with their Auntie Jessica and cousin Ryan. This picture is in Eli's room and Nama's room. I'm headed for that bed right now because today was a busy learning day for me. Meeting the teachers and learning the driving directions to and from school. (In the outskirts of LA mind you). Yes this Nama is attempting to drive on some LA highways. Say a little prayer for this Nama.

We celebrated Jenny's birthday on Jessica's birthday and will celebrate Jessica's birthday on Jenny's birthday. Jenny used to not understand why we would always celebrate Jessica birthday before hers when she was older. So tonight we did. :)

Ten On Tuesday

Just following the leader...
1. Had the stomach bug and got rid of it just in time to go to CA.
2. Mom is back in Texas after two weeks in Ohio in Oct. My favorite time of the year to be in Ohio.
3. Two of my children were born this week but three years and one day apart. O an 30+ years ago. Happy Birthday girls.
4. Will have been in four states within two months next week.
5. Spent 2 1/2 hours in Dr. office waiting room. Seriously!!
6. Packed for CA and seeing my CA family and meet my new grandson. So excited I'm about to pop.
7.Watching the Chilean rescue operation on Fox/CNN. Wishing I had listened better in Spanish class. Such hope!!
8.Babies, Babies, Babies, Babies.
9. Excited about going to the pumpkin patch and seeing Mattie Sue and Malyn in their superwoman and pony girl costumes.
10. Excited to see and HUG my little girl and son in law!

Breakfast at Grandma's/Mom's apartment.

Found some pictures that were on my camera that I hadn't downloaded. My mom had breakfast at her apartment. Jenny baked two quiches and we had fruit salad. This was our Labor Day weekend with Katie on. Monday brunch.
