Only in Texas

Good morning, says Ryan. See him in the door.
Hail and 60 degrees out! Go figure.
Closest we'll get to snow.
Yes Ryan this these are little balls of ice called hail.
Ryan and I made a trip out to the Loft to see Auntie Jenny. She always has fun things to play with. Checkers kids style.
Flowers for Auntie Jenny..
Helping Auntie Jenny clean up the play yard with Lola .
Always a ball around this play yard. They are all sizes.
Texas size cookies. We made little bit sizes for Ryan but he grabbed the big cookie and looked at us like you eat that bit size pieces, I'll eat the COOKIE!
Nap time, to much fun at the Loft.

Ryan Tootle - futrue Tiger Woods

Click on the picture and you'll see this 22 month old has his EYE on the ball...
I found this golf club at Target and the handle is adjustable so when he grows so does the club. Good thing he's still just putting and so far no full back swings. But that is to come. I say build a putting green in his back yard. ??

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COURTNEY!

This is for you Courtney. Have a happy day today.
My gift to you, a finished puzzle. I have to say, if a minister is looking for a sermon, I suggest to do a puzzle, it's a sermon in the making. You will only know what I mean if you actually put a puzzle together.

Most of the work was done when I couldn't sleep and also just quick day time stops by the dining room table.

Rainy Day Project

This was my rainy day project. I started but then the day turned sunny. But I was hooked! Ask the girls, they will tell you I have been known to stay with a puzzle for many hours. I will update the finished product or at least the progress.
After emptying the bag of puzzle pieces I begin to separate into colors and then straight edge. I usually figure that they forgot one piece when packing but it always turns out that all the pieces are there or on the floor.

Sisters

SISTERS! Elliot says: "Hadley, tell that Nama she can't see that my outfit matches yours." Hadley says: " Just smile Elliot, they will put the camera's away pretty soon. Besides your bib is on because that Nama came in the middle of your feeding and covers up the cute Popsicles."
I just had to get this darling little Elliot with her hat on. Of course the sun is in her eyes and she is still just as happy as can be.
What a happy mom and Elliot is just chit chatting away.
Nana (I think that is what Hadley calls Pam) and Hadley at the fish pond.
Malyn this is a picture of the turtle at the fish pond. Have your mom click on the picture to see it. That fish swam right on top of it just as I clicked the picture.
Hadley, this is the giraffe I was talking about that I feed at the zoo. This is my favorite animal at the zoo.
Thanks Pam and Julie for calling me to visit with you while you were feeding the fish at the fish pond near my house. What a fun morninng!

Happy Birthday Jackie

Happy Birthday to Jackie. Great lunch at Milano's Italian Restaurant.
Here is the group picture. If you look very closely you will see me in the mirror behind Molly. I'm holding the camera and looking in the mirror to be a part of the group picture. I learned this trick from Jessica. She wanted me to see a dress she picked out and so she took a picture with her cell phone of herself in the mirror in the dressing room.

More memories of CA...

One of the best parks I've been too. CA has lots of parks and they perfected this one. Everything was state of the art play ground fun.
Wyatt and Mattie Sue swinging on the lounge chair swings. Yes CA knows how to make the best swings.
We had a picnic at this fun park. The girls and I meet Stacy here early afternoon.
oops how did this cute little ballerina dancing around like only the top ballerina can do get in this post?.
Svendsen's come over for chalupa's one night. For you stalkers here is Siena hanging out with the girls watching ??? not sure, we were busy fixing Oreo cookie ice cream. We ate the dessert so fast that I never got a picture of it. Here is the famous man that is the father of Siena.
Malyn pulled out all her stuffed animals and then fell down on top of them. It started out with her blanket on the floor and she put each one on the blanket and talked to them. Then she pulled her blanket out from under them and fell down. She laughed and laughed.
Play Dough making day with sprinkles and cut outs. So fun! We had home made play dough and store bought.
I even got in the act and actually wished I could have done it when they went down for their nap.
Mattie Sue is in this picture. She fell asleep under the blanket. There is more than one way to take a nap.

Cookie day. We made sugar cookies and colored frosting. I was making them but not as fast as Mattie Sue was eating them. That's the name of the game, right?

I got Malyn a bug holder. It chirps like a cricket when you turn on the light. There are lots of little bugs that came with it and a magnifying glass so we inspected each bug. The lady bug has 8 black dots, the cricket has.... you get the picture. Then Stacy found one bug that had "made in china" on it.
Mommy loves her Malyn Grace. Cute story behind this picture.
Mom bought each of the girls an etch a sketch. Mattie Sue mastered it right away. Great gift for 3 year old. I told her that they made big ones too, she said I don't want a big one, I like this one. Notice the crossed legs.
Home again and Ryan came over. This is Poppy and Ryan watching golf. But when I got in front of them he pointed for me to get out of the way. OK golfer.

Ballet

Day Light Savings Time has gotten me off track. Not a fan of changing time.
This is my darling Mattie Sue at ballet classes. She was the best one there.
See Mattie Sue pointed toe? She really was the best. Then Lauren (in bright pink), next to her is her neighbor. They love ballet and listen to every word and they try very hard and do a great job. And I'm not saying that cause I'm the Nama, she really was the best.

Started the day off with Pomegranate Blueberry Latte Tea then a long drive to:
Malyn with her favorite: the turtle.

Malyn in the Turtle egg.
Stacy and girls on the ant hill in the children's area. They sat on the zoo map and slid down.
Malyn saying "All A Bow-aired.
Lunch. Junk food but fun food.
Stacy and Malyn on the real train.
Which way do we go, which way do we go... ? click on the picture and see the ocean in the back ground and in the center. Beautiful. Picture can't capture the uniqueness of this area.
My favorite animal. Stacy got a picture of me feeding this guy!!!!
The gorilla carried his blanket and walked to the other side and laid it down and then sat on it. Then he just stared.
Back at the ant hill. The girls on top ready to slid down.
Malyn, wheeeeeeeeeee
Stacy........... "Look out Kid"
Nap time on the way home. Along with her new stuffed animal. Old blanket and old Nemo, what more could a 2 1/2 year old want.

Nama in time out.... I said stupid. I had to sit there for three minutes. :(
Bedtime story with Nama.
I'll be babysitting in the morning. Stacy goes to work at the preschool. I'm going to meet with some friends with the girls at the park. So that means pictures of the park tomorrow.
