May / Bennett / Family Reunion and more...

The May/Bennett Family Reunion was once again held at the Methodist church in Gonzales, TX. Both of Chesley's grandparents lived just outside of Gonzales. Grandpa May had a chicken farm and raised thousands of chickens each year.
Chesley, cousin (Carroll) and brother Lamar.

As all small town family reunions there was plenty of food for all....

and dessert.

We played games. This is Chesley's brother laughing at him, part of the game. We played bingo and had a silent auction after the meal.

Jean, my sister in law, Brian and Maureen Roberts, Jim Roberts, brother in law, and Chesley all with their auction items (home made jellies, pickles, and farm fresh eggs). Maureen was the only one at our table to win one of the bingo games.

Gonzales County Jail tour...

This is all of us in front of the jail. Except Jim and me.

Jean and Chesley heading into their cells.

The gallows. Ekkkkksssss. scary.

Pam in cell # 15 peeking through the hole where the food was passed through.

You can always find a heart where ever you are. This one is on the wall of the jail house.

Happy, giggling right after the bath, Ryan.

Ignore my mom at the door Nama. She thinks she is going to put my jammies on and putting me to bed. Just dance and sing and play cars. She'll forget it's bedtime.

Ryan's having a brother and here he is.

Lots of giggles with Poppy. He is driving a car on Ryan's leg and Ryan thinks it's so funny.

And.... the new golf shoes that will improve Chesley's golf game. This has been part of our July activities. We have more fun planned.
