Beach day! Best friends and sisters.
Sisters make a beach trip double fun.
Happiness is seeing the girls so excited.
And of course Nama had to join in on the fun. We rode the waves. How on earth the under tow didn't take us out to sea I'll never know. Maybe we just wanted to keep riding the waves and wouldn't let it take us away from the fun.
Eli was checking out the action behind him. All clear, no waves heading our way mom!!
One of Nama and girls project. Paper plate with rainbow and Noahs ark and animal cookies.
Malyn's plate.
Mattie Sue's plate below.
Modern world. This is a squeeze pouch with a spoon attached on the end. Just squeeze and out comes the food. I laughed the whole way through the first time I did this.
Eli loves to crawl under, over, around, in and out of about everything he can find. He never seems to get stuck and always figures out how to get out.
Girls and I having an icee at Target waiting for mom to finish helping Naz get some things to take home to her family.
Quick bath. He loves that too. Happiest baby on the block.
Movie time: Cars 2 after a delicious dinner at Old McDonald's.
Another fun project. Butterscotch chips melted/ Chinese hard noodles/ mix together and form a nest then put some jelly beans in the nest for the eggs. Afterwards the girls picked out their favorite bird and we looked up on the computer how that bird makes its nest. Malyn picked a Peacock and Mattie Sue picked a Humming Bird.
Mom and Eli didn't get to go into the water because Nama decided she had something to prove to her dear sweet granddaughters. They said, "Nama, you're to old for a bathing suit!" Well when they saw me riding the waves that was the end of that little theory.
This is Mother's Beach. The roped in area is all very shallow and the kids can use their goggles to see the bottom without it being to deep.
We are the picture family. Me taking a picture of Stacy taking a picture of the girls. :)
It's a Marina. The girls and I pretended this is where Nemo's dad swam into and found Nemo in the building in the distance.
Mattie Sue, our back stroker!
Stacy getting every minute of the "Hail to the Chief" day.
"Arnold, party of five"documented the whole process by my new CA friend Jen, the master chocolate chip cookie maker.
How did I get home with only two cookies. O well, I guess I'll just have to make some more to stay in practice. Hummmm!
