We started this day with it all planned out. First breakfast at The Gazebo. A place Jessica and Rod told us about. Long line but worth the wait they said. They were right. We met a very nice couple in line. The day was going as planned. The food was wonderful. I had the Veggie Benedict and Chesley had the Big Kahuna. :) It was wonderful. I took pictures going in and afterwards. I decide to take one more of some flowers and --- crash --- my camera went flying out of my hand and on the cement ground and bent the lens so I couldn't open or close it. :( I was soooo sad and couldn't believe it. Chesley said It's OK we'll get it fixed or just get a new camera. (Good Old Laid Back May) As we were driving back to the hotel we decided to check out the camera place next to the hotel. ... Gone, shut down.... :( Someone stopped us to ask if we wanted to take a tour of some new condos and I just said NO, this is not a good day for me, I just broke my camera and I'm very unhappy. He said I was a photographer and know something about cameras. Let me have a look. But he just shook his he head and said if I were you I go to Costco and buy a new one. So my sweet husband said, I think we should do it, otherwise we'll not have any pictures of our trip and the camera is a goner anyway. So he then said "Happy Birthday". And off we went to Costco and purchased a new camera - Canon Power Shot SX200 IS. It's very much like my old one but much better and with all the new updates. So I will have to wait until I get home to post the breakfast pictures unless I find a place that will transfer my pictures from my card to a disk.
So my reading at the pool side today was Camera User Guide. Here are a few of the pictures I took with my new birthday present. Haven't learned all the new things it can do but at least we have a camera.

The Big Kahuna posing for my very first shot with my camera.
This was a cloudy sunset tonight.

Yes you are right, this is a posed photo. Good blog material as I always say.

This is one of the hallways in the Hyatt.
There was a Lu ha going on at the Hyatt so I snapped a photo from afar.
Walkway from Westin to the Hyatt.
We will be taking this walk again tomorrow to see a show.
I just love the Palm trees
