Princess Amanda

Mattie Sue watching Amanda getting ready to walk down the isle. I'm sure that day will always stay in Mattie Sue's memory forever. She saw a beautiful princess.
On the ride home she told her mommy and daddy she wanted to go to Amanda and Patrick's wedding again tomorrow.

Amanda and Mattie Sue and Hannah. The girls rang the bells before Amanda walked down the isle. They both did a wonderful job.

This is the wedding portrait of Amanda. Mattie Sue couldn't stop looking at her and slowly walked up to the picture and stared at it for a while and then touched it. She came back to me and said, "I touched her"

I am hoping to get a picture of Amanda and Patrick posted soon. Amanda took my breath away when I first saw her. I only hope that someone got a picture of Patrick when he saw her as the doors first opened and the most beautiful woman escorted by her father began walking towards him. The evening was like a fairytale and the bride and groom looked like a prince and princess and we all felt very blessed to be a part of their special day. Thank you Knockes for a wonderful celebration of the marriage of your daughter.

Dinner at the Tootles

Ahhh to be young again and be able to shop, work in the yard, house work, laundry, cooking, have guests over for dinner all in one day. Tootles make a good team along with a great meal. They made everything from scratch, I brought HEB mashed potatoes. Thank you Tootles!

The helping Father in Law

Chesley watched the production and said he could do it with his eyes closed...... when he was their age!!!!!!!

Entertainment

This is Rod cooking the Dove. Rod worked all day in the yard and then come in and cooked a great Dove dinner.
The Tootles always have entertainment with dinner and tonight was no different. Don Nesting made his appearance to help move the new big screen TV into the house. He also did an encore show of setting up the TV which seemed to be unachievable by anyone else there. Can you tell.

IKE in OHIO ????

Do you remember my mom's house in Ohio? Well this is it before IKE's winds hit Bellevue.....
This is it after IKE hit Bellevue...........
Notice the wire under the tree. She still had electricity.

Can you believe we hardly got any wind and look what it did to my moms. She is fine and it's on the tree lawn so hopefully the city is responsible for cleaning it up. That is my mother's bedroom window you see in the picture.
