This is what we saw and had to put up with a good part of the way.

She found it! I knew she saw me put her treats in the blue bag.

I just missed the "Welcome to Ohio" sign. You can see the bottom of the sign. I was to busy watching the rode and being a back seat driver in the front seat.

Mitzi had her head rested on my arm the last hour of the drive.

We ordered hamburgers from the steak restaurant.

Our room in Cincinnati. We have everything. Two rooms, free high speed wifi, 2 flat screen TV's room service from one of the top steak restaurants, free full breakfasts, pets allowed just to name a few.

Heading North

We discovered we had a dead battery the day before we left. So my handyman husband went to Walmart and bought a battery and put it in so we are in good shape.

There are only two of us..... plus two dogs.

Maddie and Mitzi had the run of the two back seats. Maddie stayed up front most of the time.

This is the toll road around Austin. From Buda all the way to Georgetown.

This sure beats the Austin traffic.

Heading for Ohio...

Plenty of rain in this area. This is Northeast Texas.

Raining, Raining. Remember Texas Family and friends. It's wet and brings out the green in everything.

Temp on mirror is 71 degrees. We are happy travelers.

All four in the front seat. Go figure... We made the back a very comfortable place for them.

And you wouldn't believe how good they are... Casey's recipe. She should make a cook book. Below you will see the finished product. We put ice cream on top. Yummy!

Jenny brought over her computer with all her Russia pictures in it and told us all about the trip there. It is so interesting. Look at her blog "Just Jenny" on my blog list and you will read some of the stories. Thanks Jen, it was better than a movie. Ryan even enjoyed it or was it his mom's ice cream?

O Happy Day! Nama finally made it to Krispy Kreams with Ryan. He was one happy boy. He must have said donuts and cheese a hundred times.

After the donuts (8:45am) we went home and played cars and watched the movie, "Cars" This is the first time I sat and watched it all the way through and I have to say it's darling. And so was watching Ryan watch the movie. Full of sound effects and funny faces throughout the whole show.

I had to go to HEB so of course we swung by Old McDonald's and had some chicken nuggets and he ate them all up.

and of course we had to get one of the "cars" from the movie.

A Loft Breakfast with Jenny

Jenny and Brooke in front of the new "baked goods" cabinet. Michele's husband made the cabinet. Let me know if you need anything made in the woodworking line and he can do it. Just show him a picture and it's done.

This cabinet is filled with today's freshly baked goods from cinnamon rolls to kolaches to cookies and other yummy's in between. Below: is Jenny (one of the bakers) next to the oven that is making all the yummy goodies. This is also where she does her work. She is blogging her trip to Russia. Look at my blog sites and look for "Just Jenny" click on that and you'll see the latest updates of her trip.

I ended up with a Cinnamon Roll (which was fabulous) and a Ham and Cheese Kolache. sp? which was equally as fabulous. Like having a dessert for breakfast.

Verdict is in......

Sat. night Chesley and I went to Five Guys Burgers...........

And we decided that if we were going to go for hamburgers and go this far we are going to

CHRIS MADRID'S. We love us some macho burger with Cheddar cheese. Sorry 5 guys you just can't stand up to one super guy!

Seriously people!

Can anyone send us some cool air or rain would be nice.

Trip to Boerne

This is the third time we asked him to say cheese because he was so cute. I think he was a little tired of us taking pictures of him with the hat that he put on himself.

Time out in the restaurant on the floor is much better then the pink frilly pink chair.
