Botanical Garden

Mom and I went to the Botanical Garden last week when the weather was beautiful. Little bit late with the flowers being at their peek but still beautiful and another memorable day.
Frist we had lunch at the Carriage House Bistro.
Dessert was the beautiful roses.

Kumamoto Garden
This is in honor of our Sister City of Kumamoto.

April

My granddaughters from CA made this heart for me from a pile of rocks. They know I love hearts. :) Thanks girls. :)
 Cousin Katie is in town...
Fun cousin time and grandma time.
Celebrating my mom's birthday at Outback.
Happy Birthday Mom!

Easter boys ready to hunt eggs.
Fishermen! Bringing home the fish. Yummy!
Malyn was honored with an award at school. She is 4th from the right. Such a happy and proud moment. Congrats Malyn.
Ryan reading the bible in the car on the way to school.

Margarita madness at Jessica's house. Jessica hosted a painting party with a fun fiesta painting.
This was another painting party that Jenny did a few weeks ago.
Never knew I could even begin to paint. Such a fun experience both in the painting and watching my daughter teach the class. ;)
 Jenny's studio at her home.

This is at Jessica's house for the Margarita Madness Party. That is the painting we all did.

The blog has taken on a new update and I'm completely lost and have no idea how it now works. So this is a very confusing post full of a mix match of pictures and in wrong order. I'll keep working on it. This is not viewed by many if any so I'm really just working out the kinks. I'll probably delete this if I can even figure out how to post it. Why change blog spot????

Update on Tomatoes and Roses

Rain does wonders for God's creation.
(so does leaving the water running 3 hours, by accident) :(
Compare this picture to the last blog post. They've come a long way!
Just blooms so far but seems to be a lot of them. Hoping for our abundance crop we had last year.
Our neighbor, Matt, has little tomatoes growing. Chesley and Matt bought the same plant at the same place. If you know Chesley I know you know what is going on in his mind.
Steroids or fertilizer ? What can I do to get these babies a growth spurt going. :)
Watch out Matt, Chesley will be keeping a close watch on your tomatoes. We should have a weekly tomato check. Regardless our neighborhood will be tomato rich.
Our Knock-off (or Knock out) Roses have been proving me wrong. I had commented that the roses weren't as pretty or full as so many people have said. It was like the next week that they exploded in this beauty.

Sorry Roses, I'll never doubt you again. :)
