Uncle Boo's in Town

Ryan loves his Uncle Boo and fainted with excitement on his arrival. After a long day of fixing up his duplex and getting it ready for rent we had a family dinner for him...
Steaks on the grill by Chesley...
I wish I had gotten more pictures but everyone was off after dinner. Tootles took our overwhelmed little guy to bed and Boo went back to the duplex to do more work.

SECOND ANNUAL

FIESTA 09'
NIOMH
The girls with the fiesta gear. Flowers (hair decoration) donated by Jenny.
Chesley and the girls. Girls have the flowers and Chesely has the Fey Feo LXI. Fiesta King pin. For those who don't know the fiesta pins are something that people collect. We now have one.
We are one happy family. Although we are not complete. Rod, Stacy, Boo, Mattie Sue, and Malyn were missed. They all will make it on one of these annuals. We will continue to have these each year.
Ryan and Maddie having a moment during the evening.
After dinner we all watched "Dancing With the Stars".
Ryan had fun playing in the doggy water bowls. At one point he was leaning over with a hand in each bowl saying aqua.
Ryan dancing along with the couple on TV. Kid of many talents.

Wonderful Easter church service-Masters-Puzzles.

We had a wonderful Easter. It was a beautiful day!
Jenny arriving after a wonderful church service at Riverside Community Church in Spring Branch. The Easter bunny brought tulips for us and her expertise on making homemade whipping cream.
Jenny making the whipping cream for our strawberry shortcake. Yummy. Rod and Jessica bought the honey baked ham. Thanks everyone for a wonderful Easter meal.
Ryan and Poppy and Maddie watching the Masters.
Little Sunday practice from Dad.
Chesley and Rod talking about the Masters that is about to start.
"Cheese" This is Ryan after collecting all the balls I hid. He was trying to hold them all at once.
I don't get it!!!!! Do I eat it or play with it or what???
Chocolate bunny eating lesson for Ryan. Off with the ears.
Trying to eat the bunny after Auntie Jenny taught him how to just take a big old bite. So off with the nose!
"Cheese" this is Ryan after the first experience of eating an Easter bunny.
This is a family tradition during holidays. We haven't done one in a while so the"Puzzle of New York Time Square" is the continuation of our tradition. It was fun, serious, tiring, frustrating, but most of all laughs and love was experienced.

Notice Ryan in the back ground crying and the mom and Auntie still working on the puzzle.
Couple hours later...The finished puzzle!

The Lord has Risen. Hallelujah!

HAPPY EASTER!
This is the Easter bunny that Jessica gave us for the center piece. We are going to let Ryan have it with dinner is over. That will be another post. :)

Chelsey and I were given Spurs tickets for Friday night by our thoughtful son in law. We were on the 7th row behind the goal post. So we got real close and got to wave the annoying white balloons at the Utah Jazz players when they were trying to make a basket with a foul shot. Sometimes it helped and sometimes it didn't.
Spurs

Eva was there to help present an award.
Wed. is girls night out but we had two males join us this night. Always a fun change! We talked about TV shows, Lost and other reality shows! Angie's recovery, the Masters, Jenny's cardboard testimony and Ryan's chitter chatter. He also tried to help the cooks in the kitchen make a pizza! Thanks Rod for joining us. When is boys night out?

Joy's of Retirement

Chesley has tackled many projects since he has retired. This one was the most impressive to me. He replaced the light section that was no longer working. Ahh this will make Christmas season stress free as far as putting the tree up. Thanks Chesley, job will done. Notice Maddie watching and helping out.
