Sat. morning we all loaded up in the car and drove to Hollywood (well I saw the Hollywood sign) and drove up to a house that was filled with beautiful families in all sorts of shapes and colors and ages and sizes. Beautifully dressed and the parents were promising their kids any thing from lollipops to the latest video games for putting on a smile and behaving in the actual room with the camera going. The Arnold's were pros and I felt like the nanny and looked like one too, that was there to help out, All I did was stare. Not sure what they were looking for or if the Arnold's fit the bill or profile of the spot in the ad but we'll find out soon.
This picture is the one that I lost last night of Malyn after she decided what she wanted to do. She is stringing beads. Stacy has the garage all set up in centers of fun, crafty, educational, and motor skills ideas. A paint center, letter center, bikes, slides, it goes on and on and the girls know what they can and can't do. It's such a fun room. I love going from one center to the other. There is a TV in there too. But it's not watched much but it has a VCR (remember those) but she only has one VCR. Poppy is sending Stacy her collection of VCR's when she was younger of all the Disney movies.
This is the Sat. morning breakfast that super mom fixed before showering getting her family feed, dressed, hair done times 3. She made home made crescents (she let them rise overnight) and then sweet apple sausage, and scrambled eggs. They all move so fast here so I find myself just watching them zoom by me.
Enjoying the breakfast. It's fun to be an Arnold!!!
PROJECT NO. 2 Potty training Malyn. She is almost there.

Finished project in the girls room. She still has some frames and two pictures she is painting. Wow. I mean there is talent in the CA family.
Mattie Sue's side of the room.

Malyn Grace's side of the room.

The next two pictures are two girls that are transfixed on the only VCR movie that mom could find. You can tell they haven't seen it in a while.

and the movie was...
The Great Pumpkin Patch.
One of the girls said, hey why is there a pumpkin there and why are they dressed up like a witch?

This is Stacy working on her no. 3 project. Painting a picture. Each girl got to pick one of the houses from a picture. This first one is Mattie Sue's. Hopefully I'll get the finished picture to show you. Stacy you are really a delight to watch be a mommy.
Pop Beads!!!! Remember Pop Beads. Great fun and this is the modern version of the old 1950's.

The reading chair. Malyn was reading aloud the story to match the pictures.

This is Flounder. This is pathetic and sad and well he had a great life. But he just keeps hanging on barely. Not sure we'll see him in the morning. Three years is a long time to survive milk poured in the bowl and some crackers etc. So Flounder if you don't make it we all have enjoyed your company.

LATE NIGHT! Shamrock sugar cookies/tummy aches too. No one was there after the girls left. Stacy and I just sat there eating more cookies thus the tummy aches.
Night Night!
