About midway to the big day...

Found a box labeled Pam: I guess I was an artist at a very young age.
Then gave it up for Poetry. "The day before April alone alone. I walked in the woods and sat on a stone. I sat on a brown stone and sung to the birds. The tune was God's making, But I made the words. :)"
Seems as though I was Polly a lot longer then I thought. I was born in June and this is our family Christmas card the year I was born. Hummmm. I knew my brother nick name was Sandy.

And this is about the rest of the goings on here. Empty cabinets and a few of the 16 boxes we've packed. Not to mention the 11 bags/boxes we took to goodwill and the clothes donations place. Probably 5 bags of trash.

O and Bev took a car loaded of boxes, bags, stuff etc. for her family, and her garage sale.
So why isn't the house empty? Seems like the stuff is having stuff! I mean like birthing more stuff. :)

Day Four

This is the view when I come down stairs each morning. White snow yard. I've got to go out and make a snow angel before it all melts.
So in TX Jessica and I go to Starbucks for "hot" coffee and in OH-winter mom and I go to Burger King for "iced" coffee. HUH???
Bev came in for the day to help pack up the dishes she and Mary and Katie are taking. She left with a car full of things and stuff for the garage sale she and Mary are giving this spring. We made a trip to the clothes donation place and some other things toward the moving day. The house is beginning to all close up into boxes and bags and just space.
Mattie Sue my sweet girl, this is for you. Grandma Dotty has mini cin. rolls. Yummy. They are bite size. So fun.
Any other pictures would just be boxes or piles of things to go through so I've put in some other fun things about being in Ohio with my mom.

Day Two of the move....

After shoveling  Don and Bev out of their driveway...
we headed to Bellevue.
Don went to work knocking off the ice cycles :) from the house.
Mom and I emptied out all the kitchen cabinets and began to separate it all into give away, pack, garage sale, etc.
Mom and I loved reading some old letters and emails that she had saved. What a blessing it is for me to be able to spend this time with my mom and laugh and reminisce as we walk in our old foot steps of memories of years gone by.
This is for the TV make over house. She is wondering why she kept all this stuff. But a story usually goes with each thing we pick up. What fun we are having.
Tomorrow we will be going to Goodwill with a car load of stuff.
