April 15. Happy acutal birthday Mom. We started off with getting nails done then a little shopping (food) then what else...lunch at Taipei. Yummy Lemon Chicken lunch (split).
Beautiful nails mom and tea to warm you up in the hot south on this rainy birth/tax day.
OK mom home resting and Chesley and I getting ready for the 3rd annual Fiesta Dinner combined with my mom's birthday. (Mom's least favorite food so we'll go to Outback to celebrate another day).

JENNY THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO WELCOME GRANDMA DOTTY. GREAT CARD...
to the newTexan. Welcome!
Ryan came right in and saw the dining room all decoraated and he went to a chair and just sat there staring at all the colors. He said, I like it and he was hungry. OK then bring out the food nama.
Finally I passed the camera on and got a photo of sweet Sammy and me.
Of course Sammy was passed around and loved sitting on grandma dotty's lap.
We have added a new member of the family to our 3rd annual Fiesta and now Birthday Dinner.
Happy birthday to you.... The little plate was going around and around playing Happy birthday. Notice Ryan was mesmerized.
Both grandma and Ryan loved the singing cupcake. They are waiting for the song to stop. :)
So we gave Ryan one and lite a candle and let him watch the cupcake go round and round. It was eye level so why not just open mouth and take a bit.
People!!! Grandma is opening her gifts. Thanks Rod and Ryan you were watching..
then the rains came again tonight. It was raining very hard and we all went outside to watch it except Grandma. She doesn't understand what a big event it is to see rain in SA. She'll find out and when she does, I'll show her this picture. :).
Here you will see Jessica telling Jenny and story and Chesley telling Rod a story and notice Ryan bent down looking at a snail I just stepped on. ekky.Little boys love that kind of stuff.
ooops we left Samuel inside and he fell asleep. Someday Sammy you'll be out there with us.

Mommy and her boys. Sweet moment with sleepy boys.
Ryan caring his bag of Cars, Woody, Buzz, Thomas the train.
As I walked back in I stopped to take a picture of the wreath and by the time I got inside a picture of my picture flashed in my mind and I saw something pink in the left hand corner of the door so I went outside and saw this...
Thanks Martha, I'll take these pretty tulips to my mom tomorrow. You sneaky sneakerton.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

Let the party begin (a day early) this is Wed. Lunch at Jessica's new cornor office. Enough room for our own table. Jessica ordered lunch from Druthers, delivered and served right in her office. What a fun treat for both of us Jessica.
Jessica, you have three computers? What a busy girl.
Of course you didn't think we would have lunch without ch. chip cookies. I raised my daughter right.
yes this is the busy desk. Since Jessica just moved into this office we are going to do a little decorating, Jenny, any ideas? Can't wait to tackle this project.
Happy Day mom, we have another fun filled day ahead. While everyone is paying taxes we are going to celebrate your birth today. Tonight a Fiesta Birthday Party. Pictures tomorrow.

Heart of Texas Hill Country

Next week we are planning on visiting the Bluebonnet Trail in the TX hill country. But this is a sneak preview from pictures sent to me. We will experience it first hand and in person. Not sure my camera will ever be able to capture this beauty that God has placed on TX but I'll try. Check me out next week. This is what I want to share with my mom during her birthday month.

Pollen Pollen Go Away! People want to go out and play.

I kid you not!!! This is our porch and this happened overnight. When you hear there is a layer of pollen of Oak dust all over everything, we mean it!!!
Dogs trail in and out on Tuesday. We have probably 2 more weeks of this. Although it will become less and less as the days go by. We stay in when possible. When we do come in we have to brush our hair, shower and be sure to wipe our feet and paws off. That cuts some of the dust from coming in.
This is Ryan watching Dancing With The Stars last week.He stopped playing cars and stared at the TV with a little wiggle here and there as the music played. We have a dancer!

Happy Easter

Day before Easter. Ryan is giving his little bro a kiss on the head. So sweet.
ahhh a cookie for a kiss. See the Lightening McQueen tatoo.
Again I'm not sure what happened to my camera or the person behind the camera. :( It's just a good picture otherwise of Millie and my mom laughing and talking. And then of course the story that Chesley is telling Rod in the back ground.
Millie and Russ invited us over to an Easter Brunch. Millie what a wonderful time and I loved all the decorations and the FOOD wow it was wonderful. Thank you so much for a great meal and a fun egg hunt.

Good Friday

This was indeed a GOOD FRIDAY. Samuel stayed with us while Jessic and Ryan went to the Dragon Movie. So we did what we do best, take pictures and smile, laugh, coo and chit chat. We have a talker.
After the movie Ryan found the little red wagon I bought and he filled it with all the cars  he could find around my house. One of my grandmothers tables that my mom and I brought back from Ohio is in the back ground. I love it and remember it from when I was little. :)
Jessica and Samuel enjoying some sun from the window. It's Oak Pollen time so we spend all these beautiful weather days inside to keep from turning powdery green and sneezing.
Ryan playing with my iPhone that has games on them. Mimi and I each have iPhones for our grandson. :)
A good Friday visit to grandma Dotty's house with milk shake treats.
There are 4 people in this picture along with three engines and two "Cars". We also still are working on finding places for some of the things from Ohio.
Grandma Dotty and Samuel had been talking and laughing but of course my speedy camera skills didn't capture the precious moments. Samuel is spell bound when Grandma Dotty talks. He just stares at her.
