....and the cooking continues

with some emails and calls to Cheryl because I wanted to get this recipe just right. Above: Chopped mushrooms along with the recipe. Thanks Cheryl how did I do?...

sauted sausage and onions and spices...

(O am I looking like the Pioneer Woman wanna be?) Cressent rolls...

getting ready to roll them up

into bundles for the freezer! Boo, Rod, Chesley and girls this is one of the many things we'll have for our Christmas morn.

Yes, those are frozen ch. chip cookies next to the sausage bundles you see above.

Above is the Pioneer Woman Wanna Be's Kitchen. It's a mess and the computer's not far from my site.

AND I even got my honey started on the "Honey Do List" Why do men hate the honey do list? We call it honey.

Another honey project. Chesley made a base for the PINK Christmas Tree. I found this for my granddaughters to decorate but the base was missing (discounted of course) but Chesley made a great base. Now I need a tree skirt to match the tree.

The hussle and bussle of Christmas.

He's back again this year... The bird that continues to hit the window after seeing his reflection. I can't believe he doesnt' have a headache.

Jessica and I met at Target today to go over the upcoming couple of weeks with christmas and family coming to town. Guess who came with her. Precious little Samuel.

After hearing Susan Gee talking about how she was going to make fudge I got my taste buds going and my mouth wouldn't stop watering. So the fudge making began...

everything ready to add as the process continues...

added everything into the pan and the fudge was born...

And the final fudge. Not a very pretty site but I can't take a professional photo of it because I want to eat it.

This is the transportation table Millie, Russell, Chesley and I started to build last week.

Santa's Elves

We are Santa's helpers! The Tootles and Chesley and I got together and helped them put the Transportation Table together. We are all giving this to Ryan and Samuel for Christmas.

Millie and I did do our part. But Russell put the table together. (with a drawer none the less) Way to go Russell. Chesley is wondering what he's supposed to do...

Well I pointed out exactly what the next step was. :)

What you see here is Russell holding the drawer that slids under the table that Chesley and I are working on. Well we are trying to figure out how to put the bridges/helicopter pad, tunnels etc. together.Thank you Millie and Russell for having us over. Fun night.

You'll see the finished product in the Christmas post...

Thursday With Jessica

Worlds Best Babysitter - (next to Mimi and Nama) is Cindy Knocke! Thank you Cindy for babysitting. It was a worry free fun afternoon.

Jessica told me to save Thursday for a mom and daughter day... I'm humbled! We started out getting a Starbucks "soy chai tea" then pedicures.

How blessed am I to have a daughter that spends a day doting on her mom.

I look a little to relaxed don't you think. :)

The finished product. Beautiful toes.

Then Jessica had it all planned to go get French Onion Soup and Fondue for two at Basseria Pavil. What a treat that was.

The soup. Best I've had in a very long time. She was right, I loved it.

Fondue was good too.

After getting Samuel and taking him to his Doctor's appointment the car turned into McDonalds and they gave us two fat free yogart ice cream cones. Imagine that Nama Dotty. It's tradition, right?

Mimi brought Ryan home from Day Care and he helped his mommy decorate the tree while Mimi got snuggles from Samuel.

We ended the evening with dinner with the Arnold girls.(Skype!) The picture is of Ryan showing Mattie Sue his Micky Mouse chicken nuggets.
What a fun fun day. Thank you so much Jessica. I'll never forget it. These are memories I'll never forget.

Wednesday With Samuel

Samuel Tootle and Coen Ellis. Welcome to the world Coen.

Big Brother Holden Ellis thinks these little guys are so funny. Holden is a very sweet brother.

This is Elfie, he hids around our house each night. He watches to see if Poppy and Nama are behaving themselves. Poppy you need to be nice or Elfie will tell Santa. AND when grandchildren come over he watches them and reports to Santa. So all grandkids looking at this remember Elfie is watching!!!

Tuesday with Samuel

15 Day's old and time to have another blood test. So here we are parking inside because it's pouring outside. Weather won't get us down or keep us from doing what needs to be done. Notice what is in the drink holder. I hate to admit it but there is a taco bag under the car seat in the Snap and Go also. What is a mom and Nama to do. Our little guy is about to have his heel poked and blood drawn. So food therapy was a must today.

He doesn't want to do it so we promised we would take him shopping.

All better now.
I can't believe he slept through J Jill.

Have to keep the mom and Samuel  nourished (thanks to the hooter hidder) so we stopped at "Order Up" on 281. Yes it was raining and we shouldn't have been out. It's just what we girls do.

You can't tell but Jessica is singing to her precious little boy. There was a great mix on the music list at "Order Up" on 281.

Laid out on the bench. Waiting to get all wrapped up to walk out in the rain and get in the car again. But next stop was home. We did it. We got 4 important errands done. :)
