Summer Time

Future tomatoes of America

The one and only peach on the peach tree.

Two weeks later, the crop grew!!

This is Mattie Sue and Malyn, my grandchildren in CA. They are working on putting Malyn in the crib and Mattie Sue out of the crib and into a twin bed. So cute and they seem happy to be right where they are. How about just letting them sleep together. O yes and there is bentin and Nose and Mickie Mouse in the picture too. Bentin is the blanket (Mattie Sue's word for bedtime blanket). Nose is the dog.

This is Julie and Robert Flippo. Robert is Chesley's grandson. They were married in Las Vegas June 23. We were there for the beautiful celebration. Congrats Flippo's.

Here's the little guy or girl. We haven't figured out which gender it is. ( Now for you bloggers out there, this picture was supposed to be under the next picture, how do I do that) . This is Cindy's pool. As soon as we figure out what sex it is maybe they will name it.

F2 Group. A day and night at the Lake. Played 99, Laughed, stayed up to late, bought a pelican for Cindy's pool, ate at Blue Bonnet and at the lake house, Thanks Cheryl and Charlie.

No Nama, please, make the cameras stop. I don't want to smile right now.

This is actually from May 1. Our 25th Anni. The girls surprised us with our personal table setting with cards and flowers and a big surprise in the end. They had paid for the whole dinner. At Ruth's Chris of all things. What a fun surprise. We were going there to celebrate and when we got there the table looked just like this. They knew we were going and did this right before we got here. Thanks girls, you are the best. A night we'll never forget.

This is Ryan's new tummy time mat. Actually if he moves a little, he'll fall off the ottoman. Guess I'll put it on the floor next time. See nama's don't know everything.

This is my penni machine. It makes great sandwiches. I should have taken a picture with the lid up. Next week.

Jenny and Chesley and I went to Le Peeps for breakfast for Father's Day on Sunday. Debbie and Diane and Chet came over Sat. and they went to Lone Horn. Sorry I didn't get a picture. Good weekend for good young Dad.

Ten On Tuesday plus Two

New mommy (Jessica) and baby Ryan.
Ryan in Nama's crib resting on the big bear I got for $6.00 at the closing of "A Spoon Full of Sugar".

Four generations picture. Can you tell I might know how to put pictures in the blog I just don't know how to put them in the order I want them in and I don't know how to delete the ones I put in. But at least I'm learning. Thanks for being patient.

Four Generations picture---------oop's three generations picture.

GO SPURS GO! Sorry Ohio family and friends. I cheered for Ohio State but not the Cav's.

Jenny my mom and Jessica. Always great fun when grandma is here.

My mom and I having breakfast on the screened in porch. Maddie is watching us or listening to my mom read.

Some of our beautiful flowers in our back yard.

These are the first of the tomatoes that Chesley has been growing. These are the mini ones. They sure look good. The other ones should be coming out soon.

This is a little woodpecker that better find a new home soon or I may find one for him. He pecks on my window about two hours a day.

This is Maddie. She pretty much makes her home outdoors in the back yard. She sees anything that moves and she is mezmirized for hours. Doesn't matter what the temp. is.

This is Mitzi taking a snooze on our bed. She had made this her perment home since we have all the little grandchildren and the surround sound TV.

12 On Tuesday It's all about the grandkids.

Fireplace pictures, First of yearly pictures if we can get the Arnold's back to SA. They are turning into Californians. I'm afraid we have lost them to the CA world. Thank goodness for Southwest and Skype, an online web camera.
Ryan's first outing and little boy socks on and all ready to go. Ryan's 8#'s and 4oz. and loving his mommy's milk. He looks more and more like his daddy and auntie Tallie. He's a Tootle baby for sure.

Nama babysat one day and we played in the pool and on the blanket. What a fun day. Done in between the rain that we had all week.

Great Grandma Dotty loves baby Ryan.

I got Mattie Sue a Princess castle for her birthday. Birthday? Christmas? What's the difference?

My cool granddaughter holding her kid.

Went to Shreck 3 with Ryan, Jessica and Stacy, Mattie Sue, and Malyn. I ended up walking Malyn in the halls of the theater. So I guess I'll have to catch the ending when it comes out on the TV. Mattie Sue loved the show. Loved the popcorn and loves Shreck.

Best party ever, Nama gave me three pieces of cake and Ariel came to my birthday party and sat right on my cake.

Little Tootle Bug chillin on the blanket.

Bathing at Nama's house. Mattie Sue and Malyn and some new birthday toys.

Malyn "jumped herself to sleep"

Malyn Arnold just chillin out on the blanket.

Fourteen On Tuesday

Sister's kissing. Mattie Sue and Malyn.
Auntie Jenny loves her Ryan. Special bonding.

Nama and Ryan. This is one blessed day. Next blog day will be pictures of all three grandkids and Nama.

Ryan and Abby. You will love this when you are in school. Ryan will never live this day down. He pee-ed on Abby's pink blanket.

Ryan Tootle meet Abby Gray. These two babies are so blessed to have these two girls as mommies. Martha and I are blessed as grandma's .

Grandma's. We have the kids on Tuesday's so watch for our play days and what fun we are going to have with them. All the stuff we wouldn't do with our kids. haha.

Our little cutie pie. Poppy is holding him.

Our new addition to the family. Jessica, Rod and baby Ryan.

Chesley made Ryan's some cubbies and drawers for his new room. I'll show you them in his room next blog day.

This is Jessica making me pancakes for Mother's Day. She had Ryan 36 hours later. What a super mom.

this is Chesley's new baby. New HD TV. I must say it's great and I do love it. Just don't like the surround sound. I feel like I can just walk into the scene.

This is what happens when a purse is left in the car. I actually saw on the video the whole thing happen. So scary. A friend left a purse in the car and they broke in and took it in a flash.

This is Mitzi on our bed. She climbed up and got under all the pillows. See her peeking out?

This is the diaper cake that Jenny made for her sister's shower. She is so talented.
Well as you can see I have (thanks to Jessica) learned to put pictures into the blog so I'll keep you updated with all the happenings around here.

Ten On Tuesday

1. Sorry to say, I'm still working on getting this blogspot under control. Seems like I have three of them. Pictures are just not working so I have to send them to the girls to put them in but they are so busy with their own lives and blogs that I'll just have to take the time to learn on my own.
2. Nama's slow!!!!!!!!!! That has become our new saying in the family. Reason being I'm slow. Slow to get the kids in and out of the car seats. Slow to get shopping done. Slow to read, slow to just about do anything and believe it or not I'm sort of liking it and I also like doing things slower. I enjoy life and I'm seeing more and listening more. So take it slow and enjoy life.
3. Been waiting for Ryan Donovan Tootle to arrive. His due date is May 19. We had a dry run last week. False labor. Jessica got dehydrated and needed two bags of fluid and a shot to stop the contractions. So we have that down pat now and are ready to go. The baby has dropped and so we are hoping that will be an indication of him coming soon. But one never knows.
4. Spurs Playoffs are underway. Chesley and I wear our Spurs shirts for each game.
5. Abigail Gray was born lst week and now we are waiting for Ryan and Carolyn Sedlak. Along with 7 other babies of our friends due this year.
6. Jenny has gotten back to her art work. So creative that girl. Hope to show pictures as soon as I learn how to add pictures. I have actually downloaded about 20 pictures but don't know where they are going. I only know they aren't appearing in MY blog. Yes I know I'm slow!!!!!!!!!!
7. Been skype-ing with my family. Brother, mom, daughters. Come on Dad, get your skype going so we can see each other. What a wonderful way to keep close to family when some of us all live in different states.
8. Mattie Sue will be 2 May 21. I just can't believe it. She is such a big girl. She knows her alphabets. That's right A to Z. Smart little muchkin.
9. Chesley goes in for his checkup with his San Antonio Dr. at CRTC (is that what it is?) in May. So far he is in remission. Praise God.
10. I finished this at 11:22pm on Tuesday night. Slow would be at 11:59pm. The time posted in the blog is CA time. Stacy helped me start this. I guess I need to change that. Come back, never know, I may have learned how to find the pictures I have floating out there in cyber space.
